Chris and I would like to thank everyone who came and watched and supported the JAM nativity play this year, we hope you enjoyed it.

We have a group of amazing children and it’s a joy to hear them sing and see them enjoy telling the Christmas story.

We all had a lovely time and it was fabulous to have so much support in all sorts of ways.

Thanks to Don and Linda for the mulled wine and thanks to all those who brought mince pies or sausage rolls.

Thanks for the gifts for the bring-and-buy and my Mum and Lyn for running it; it raised £154, which is great. The hamper (thanks to Liz) raised another £70.

Thank you to Bob for taking some lovely pictures and being the official photographer.

Our thanks to all the people on teas and coffees and those who helped us clear up

Thank you to the choir too; I’m glad Paul did not fall through the fire exit!

We thank HATS for the loan of their lights and staging.

Thanks to Bruno for opening and closing the play with a prayer and finally, thank you to every single one of the children for such an amazing performance and to their Mums and Dads for bringing them to rehearsals and encouraging them.

We are extremely proud of Quintus who shaved his head in aid of Cancer Research. Amazingly, £215.86 was collected in the bucket and we will add a further £77 to that from half the bring-and-buy proceeds – thank you all for your generosity in supporting Quintus; he will be adding to this total with money raised from the other Christian groups he is connected with, as well as donations from his school. Well done Quintus!
