“You wouldn’t run a business like this,” is a phrase I’ve heard numerous times since becoming a minister. It’s a phrase I struggle with, because the church is not, should not, and simply cannot be a business.

Alpha is an informal and relaxed 8-week course to explore and discuss the meaning of life and what it might mean to follow Jesus.
Whether you know nothing or very little about Jesus, whether you're an interested agnostic, or whether you've been a Christian for 50 years, this course is for you!
Every evening begins with a meal. There is then a talk about an aspect of the Christian faith and an opportunity for discussion.
Wednesday evenings 7-9pm from 9 January 2013 for 8 weeks
Hosted by Matt & Jenni Stone at the Church Manse in Hoveton (please contact us for more details of location)
There is no charge, although there will be a bowl for any donations.
